Michael Birch
Chairman

Michael Birch is an accomplished Indigenous entrepreneur originally from Garden Hill First Nation in Northern Manitoba. Beginning his career at just 16 with the Garden Hill Convenience Store, he grew it over 25 years before selling it to the community. He went on to found the Aboriginal Beverage Company, producers of First Nations Cola, which earned him the inaugural Asper School of Business Aboriginal Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2002.
Throughout his career, Michael has consistently launched ventures that blend economic development with community empowerment. He founded the First Nations Buying Group of Canada to negotiate bulk purchasing power for Indigenous communities and later launched M.B. Enterprises, which developed and transitioned retail businesses to First Nations management. Recognizing the logistical challenges in northern supply chains, he founded Direction North, a 100% Indigenous-owned freight company serving remote regions.
In recent years, Michael has expanded his focus. He became a Director at Golden Rapture Mining near Rainy River, Ontario, and was appointed Chairman of Quindio Gold in 2024.
Quindio is revolutionizing ore processing in Colombia by bringing advanced technology to artisanal mining regions. Michael also works with Northern Lights Petroleum on Indigenous fuel supply initiatives and is a key proponent of the NeeStaNan Energy Corridor, connecting Northern Alberta to Hudson Bay. In 2025, he founded Anisininew Consulting Group to support Indigenous-led energy and food security projects across Manitoba.
Brent Bullen

Brent Bullen has over 34 years of senior executive experience and has created corporate value in excess of $1.7 billion with operations in both North America and International Construction and Energy Service Sectors. Mr. Bullen established Canadian Fracmaster in Qatar and was an integral part of Canadian Fracmaster’s growth in Russia and authored the technical economic studies used to registered 4 of the 5 Russian Joint Ventures by Canadian Fracmaster in Russia with an estimated market value in excess of $750 million in 1992. Mr. Bullen was co-founder and President of the Valens Group of Companies providing over $300 million in value creation for well services, remediation and stimulation in Central Siberia ad associated construction of infrastructure project from pipelines, refineries, hotel business centers, schools, apartments and worker housing in Russia, Poland, Germany, Kyrgystan and Khazakhstan. Mr. Bullen was co-founder of Neutrino Resources Inc. a TSE listed company, co-founder of DynaFrac Well services restructured into CalFrac Well Services. Mr. Bullen has several inventions to his name and co invented the Sio Extraction Patent prior to the company’s enterprise evaluation of $3.9 billion dollars.
Brent holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary and an MBA from Queen’s University. His international energy expertise and track record of value creation make him a key contributor to Quindio Gold’s strategic vision.
Jeffrey Benavides

Jeffrey Benavides brings over two decades of leadership in the global mining industry, with extensive experience in plant operations, finance, and corporate governance. As a Chartered Accountant since 2005 and a former executive with multiple public companies across North America and Europe, Jeffrey provides strategic financial oversight to Quindio Gold.
He currently oversees operational compliance, local regulatory matters, and financial reporting, working closely with tax authorities and auditors to uphold the highest governance standards. With a degree in Software Engineering and membership in MENSA, Jeffrey’s unique blend of analytical and operational expertise enhances the company’s efficiency and innovation as it scales its Colombian operations.
David Coolidge

David Coolidge is a seasoned trader and investor with more than 25 years of experience in Canadian and U.S. capital markets. Specializing in mergers, acquisitions, and early-stage funding, he has helped raise over $100 million for both private and public companies.
David is a co-founder of Green Mountain and has built and advised businesses in multiple countries and sectors. From 2010 to 2016, he played a key role in mining ventures across Latin America, offering deep insight into regional investment environments. David continues to work with management teams to navigate global trade and finance, bringing strategic capital-raising and operational knowledge to Quindio Gold’s board.
Jamie Dowla

Jamie Dowla is a seasoned business consultant and immigration advisor with over a decade of experience guiding international clients through Canada’s complex immigration and business integration landscape. Since 2012, Jamie has led CanDo Immigration, assisting students, professionals, and investors from around the world in establishing successful careers and enterprises across Canada.
With a strong focus on regulatory navigation and strategic advisory, Jamie has helped numerous clients integrate into the Okanagan’s business and professional community. His work supports economic development through immigration-driven entrepreneurship and workforce mobilization. Jamie brings to Quindio Gold a global perspective, practical business insight, and a deep understanding of international regulatory frameworks.
